The need to implement technical improvements as well as the necessity to reduce environmentally dangerous activities were the most important factors leading to aforementioned changes.
In the first phase of modernization dangerous technologies were liquidated. Investments were also focused on re-designing foundry equipment and implementing new tools and devices. In 1993 ALWRO started pressure die casting technology and in 1996 centrifugal casting, opening at the same time the new chapter in its business activity and widening considerably its range of assortment. In the next phase grey-iron casting technology was reduced and liquidated. Simultaneously die casting has been developing dynamically.
Production profile
Nowadays ALWRO offers a broad assortment of non-ferrous metal pieces made in pressure die technology, in permanent-moulds (gravity and centrifugal) as well as in sand moulds. Apart from casts the company also makes die forgings.
